Machair again
If this was my garden then I'd be well pleased but in fact it is a patch of weeds by the side of the track at Balranald. Make one think about the word weeds! Sources tell me that Corn Marigolds is probably what they are.
Garden pottering with a bit of strimming before heading north to Balranald. There was a summer plumage Curlew Sabndpiper there which for those who don't know is bright brick red but was, amazingly, almost impossible to see against the piles of rotting seaweed. Camouflage at its best.
Neighbours around for a drink in the evening as the sun was out - at least for some of the time.
