Poppy

I was out early this morning with a friend who had discovered a field of wild flowers.  The field of grass had just been cut but the hedgerows had been left and they held a delightful variety of wild flowers.  This lone poppy was on the edge and was in a perfect condition.  Unfortunately I couldn't spend too long here as I needed to get back to get ready for our family's visit tomorrow.  

The afternoon comprised a visit to the supermarket, picking of courgettes and watering of the allotment followed by a very good zoom macro photography meeting with Tony North.  Lots to learn.
