Rangi’s Seat

After lunch we all walked the cliffs. Here is Ella and Harry sitting on Rangi’s seat. This seat was caved and erected in memory of a local young musician who was killed in a motor bike accident not far from where we live...I remember well the evening it happened. Hideous. 

Tomorrow the family are off skiing at Round Hill Ski field on the shores of Lake Tekapo.  We skied there as a family every season when our children were youngsters.  Hoping the conditions will be favourable, there is a bit of snow falling up there today .
