The Birds

A very obvious film title for the Wide Wednesday challenge for today of Movie Titles set by RockArea. We were mainly confined to barracks owing to rain, more rain and cloud. The very welcome rain has filled water butts, aided the pond and given everything a thorough watering. The studio roof collected 100 litres overnight (I'd emptied it into the pond on Sunday). I'll have to work out how much water that represents.

We did escape this afternoon for a shorter than usual stroll around the largely deserted Mote Park where this family of cygnets were doing a considerable amount of grooming - apart from one who has having none of it, preferring to raise a leg and have a snooze whilst his/her siblings were very industrially engaged around him/her.

Otherwise, little of note to record. Ukulele Jam tonight where I'm expecting to wreck George Harrison's My Sweet Lord.
