Succulent flower

These wonderful little flowers suddenly appeared on one of my succulents in the greenhouse. They were a pleasant surprise.

I have had a scratch between my eyes that wouldn't heal and kept getting bigger, so I got it checked out. I got a call in the early evening from the doctor saying it needs to be removed because it is a wee bit of skin cancer and surgery will be required, sigh...

Today, I am grateful for the day I was given, diligent doctors, decent insurance and a job.
