Veg and Fruit box

Another lovely veg and fruit box from Strawberry Grove our local Community-supported Agriculture farm. The veg had just been picked or dug up as I arrived. All delicious especially the beetroots.

We took Mittz to the vets this morning for her thyroid condition checkup. She has put on half a kilo and the nurse clipped all her matted fur out. She is now a partly grey cat as the main matted clumps are the light coloured undercoat. I might blip her at some point but she is, as ever, traumatised by the journey. Anyway the vet is pleased with her progress so all should be well for another 3 months. Pets' humans are not allowed into the vets. The animal gets taken inside and the humans wait until the vet has seen their pet and comes out to tell them the results etc. The vet was very happy with Mittz even with the matted fur!
