HERE SHE IS!

Voilà - I've put her back together again, cleaned her up a bit & strung her up.

You & I wouldn't believe how good a 105 year-old lady sounds. The owner brought in another Gibson A4 mandolin from 1928 which CC worked on & the old lady wins hands down!

Just take a look at the extra showing the plate which covers where the strings are attached -  again it's nickel-silver & again it's hand engraved.
I know these crafts have not been totally lost, but they seem to be used in all the wrong places?
