Welcome, Please come in... (Gate #8) 
We escaped the 100 degree heat of Albuquerque and headed north for a swim in the Rio Grande where it flows relatively clear and free.  Such a relief!

Then we continued on to Taos for an overnight because we needed to pick up a painting we bought to serve as the cover for the musician's new CD.  Once again, we are fortunate (though the businesses would not agree); we find almost no one is here.  Only one other room in the Inn taken.

Taos is on top of the virus.  Since there are only a few roads into the town, they are able to have large signs displayed before you enter.  Mask Up!  Everyone, everywhere wears a mask. Funny how this has become so comforting to see. Plus, they are contact tracing at all restaurants in that you enter your name, address and phone number before you dine.  Love it!
