An end to peace?

The lovely bushy block next to us has been subdivided and a new house is to be built across our back fence. We hoped the work wouldn't start while we are still hibernating at home. But that was not to be and today the earth movers moved in.

Ah well, that's the downside of living in a beautiful area with large bushy blocks. The upside is that we can't actually see any of this from our house.
