The North Face

I left the campsite, running to catch the 8.20 bus to Interlaken. There was a quick change of plan, as the weather was so completely clear, I decided to head up to Wengen. There were lots of people on the way there too.
Got off the Wengenalpbahn at Allmend, and followed the Lauberhorn trail, all the way up the World Cup Ski Piste, right to the top of the Lauberhorn. Found a lovely little quiet path down to Kleine Scheidegg, where I found this perfect little lake, and some lovely flat rocks to enjoy the view and a late lunch.
Took the train back down to Lauterbrunnen, then to Interlaken, then the bus to Beatenberg. Luckily all this is included in my GA, General abbonenment for Swiss Transport.
