Koala

Today we set off on our road trip along The Great Ocean Road. The drive from Torquay to Apollo Bay was fantastic - twisting, turning, coast-side roads with amazing views. The sea is an incredible colour along this stretch of coast.

We stopped off at Kennet River as we were told that this was a good place to spot koalas in the gum trees. A car full of young women that had just done the Kennet, told us that there were few koalas about and that we'd be wasting our petrol. We spotted 18 in a 2 mile stretch. Just as well we didn't listen to them.

The koalas were great. They're incredibly lazy and fall asleep anywhere in a tree - it's surprising they don't fall out. Cute little fellas though!
