Despair

Looking out from the kitchen window this morning, it seemed that the dragonfly by our water trough had given up in despair that it would ever stop raining. It has eventually this afternoon so there is a brief interlude before the next showers arrive. It remains overcast, misty and very chilly. Did anyone mention it is summer?
