Yet to emerge

Like many people, we have been doing things in the garden we have never ever done.

In this case - planting seeds. Too often away from home, “too busy”, and a lack of confidence in our gardening skills.

So we planted a tray of sunflower seeds, and then planted the seedlings expecting that most would fail but hopefully one or two might survive. We have had failures. But amazingly, despite all the gales and rain, a sunflower forest is rising. And flower buds are developing. This is one.
