Day 35: Introducing Larry the Lamb

I'm quite astonished Larry hasn't made it into my blip yet! Larry has been a big part of our family for 4 and a half years. He was bought for my daughter when she was 6 months old, flown back from Menorca by my Auntie & Uncle. She loved him immediately and has taken him to bed with her, along with most other places, ever since! Larry has changed a lot in recent years, he's lost a fair bit of stuffing, is very (discoloured despite being washed almost weekly), he's had numerous operations with surgery on his eyes, ears, belly button and leg.... but he is very very well loved!

We had a replacement flown in 2 years ago 'just in case' but Libby didn't quite have the same chemistry with this one and so the replacement is now Larry's mum Lucy! We have taken Larry (sometimes affectionately known as Laz) to Build-a-Bear with the intention of having him re-stuffed but Libby wouldn't have any of it. Every day we have a story about Larry's house, his family, his car, his school, his friends, his holidays...... One day I'll write a book and call it 'The Adventures of Larry the Lamb' just to capture the magical imagination of my girl :) x
