Californian tree poppy to you and I!

A few years ago these customers said they needed help with a slight problem indoors, the gorgeous tree poppies were growing up from below the windowsill. The plants were growing about 3 feet away from the house wall but had managed to grow through the foundation and into the cavity so beware, they are quite invasive.

After digging the plant out we moved it some distance away from the house and this year it is looking fantastic again.

Later in the day I was at Walnut Cottage where I planted 2 walnut trees which had been a present. I hope that in 40 years time I can drive past, look at magnificent trees and say "I planted those"
