Maryport By Night.

I decided to visit Maryport at night. I stood over by the Aquarium to take this shot of Shipping Brow. I thought nothing would be moving because it was so quiet, however, a car crossed the bridge and went up Shipping Brow and then turned left onto the oldest street in Maryport or Alauna as the Romans called the town in AD122. 
The extra shows the sculpture given the name of Alauna. It depicts the history of Maryport. The lighting of it has been repaired, however it remains one colour unlike when it was first put up, with changing colours.
