Staffs and Worcester Canal, Latherford

Another glorious sunrise. I drove to work via a green lane I used to frequent with my then girlfriend in the early 1980s. It's rather sobering to think that our courting was 30 years ago.

I struggled for a foreground I liked but decided that the reflections in the canal would have to suffice. I used Photomatix to process three bracketed images, each shot being two stops apart. The lens also had a 3 stop ND grad on it to control the intensity of the light.

I find sunrises really uplifting, a really good kick start to the day!
