The birdie tree

I love it when l walk past a tree or bush at the end of the day and it is alive with song. This tree was very busy on a windy day offering shelter and the sparrows were busy singing and preening. My husband, M, grew up in the UK midlands and calls Sparrows Spuggies, they have been on the decline due to loss of habitat and cats but happily seem to be making a bit of a comeback
