Changes to Cafe Society
The Snap Tin, a cafe in Poynton, has been closed for the duration. Changes have been made for the new world. A large canopy has been built at the front to facilitate a spread of tables and fresh air socialising. Poynton was a mining village until the pits closed in 1935, and the name is from a collier’s butty box. Pride of place above the apex is a coal pick. The Snap Tin- from working class to the Cafe Society. Great to see it back. Reopens Friday I think.
