A Leap of Faith
This was my favorite photo of the day, flawed as it is. This female Verdin was hopping from post to post, checking if there was anything good to snack on as she went.
The guys were here much earlier, consequently, accomplished much more. The front rock is installed. There is a few little tweaks and then it is done. What a difference trimming and fresh rock makes. I am grateful that young arms and backs were involved with the rock installation. (a far cry from the bark dust used in the NW I laid for 19 years) I love that each region has its own way of dressing things up.
The flagstone in the back is the next big project. It is all coming together faster than I imagined.
