Lucifer
Before it rained, again, I was in the garden attempting to tidy up some of the plant stalks that had been battered down by the wind and heavy showers of the previous few days, when I spotted this spray of Crocosmia Lucifer. So it became the subject of todays blip. It was the only photograph that I took in close-up, all the others were of the full spray of flowers in the small blue vase.
Fox-Valley this morning to buy fruit and veg from Andy (the market there is now open again). Sad to hear that our favourite restaurant, NeoMed, will not re-open after the Covid closures. We’ll really miss their friendly welcome. They are opening a bakery and take-away in one of the other shops on the site, but it won’t be the same!
