Upminster Cemetery

It was a very pleasant funeral service today for my uncle. About 15 of us in this delightful little chapel. The cemetery at Upminster is next to the crematorium, the whole site is 17 acres. Grave stones as far as the eye can see. Some quite ornate, some very beautiful. When we walked to the grave for the burial we had to wait on the path and next to us was a remembrance bench with a plaque which had the line "told you I was ill" on the inscription, which gave me a little smile.
So my uncle is up there with my Mum now. It will have been a surprise for him as they decided not to tell him at the time that mum had gone just a few weeks before. 
Won’t forget this year will we.
