The garden
A slight regret I will have when setting off for France will be leaving the garden which has benefited from the time spent on it this year and is looking good now. There are lots of squash growing, The Swiss chard has been a success and the flowers have done very well with the alternating heat and rain. Today has been a very busy day. I had a hair appointment just before 9 o’clock and, having got used to having longer hair, I decided not to have it cut short. I then went to complete handovers at the food bank before receiving a call to get my new Hyundai key coded. I rushed into Boston and had it done but I am still smarting from the bill of several hundred pounds. I was just in time for the French conversation group meeting. I will definitely have a quiet evening and perhaps watch the cricket highlights.
