First Californian Poppy Flowering

These were grown from seed in pots and transplanted when I moved :)

Busy day with my Dad and Step Mum here.  

Dad and I popped to B&Q, so watch this space for a couple of little projects I've set myself...  Dad then cut shelving to size for inside the built in wardrobe in my 'creative/spare room, and he'll send me the right brackets to fit the holes :)

 Y my lovely Step Mum and I hung curtains in my bedroom;  it feels like an absolute age since I've had proper curtains as I've only had an old duvet cover draped over the rail since I moved in  almost a month ago :)

Tomorrow the big one - a haircut :)  Must remember to do the before and after...it will be worth leaving home at 6.45am to get there in time for the 8am appointment at my hairdressers in Newbury!  Just hope and pray the car will behave itself as I only use it about twice a week these days!
