Carrots

We used to have quite a big vegetable garden, but a few years ago, we “re-designed” it so that there are more flower beds, shrubs etc.
However, I retained a coupe of raised beds and I usually grow early potatoes in one and carrots in the other.
I put mesh type stuff round the carrots to protect them from the dreaded carrot fly and today I thinned them out a bit.
