Haven
We went on another longish trip today to interview another applicant for our vacancy. This was to North Cornwall and it's been a lovely day for the trip. We visited a house where they have a litter of kittens from a mother who is half Ragdoll and half Birman. The father is full Ragdoll and is a fine looking cat. Mother was absent due to being spayed today. The lady who seems very knowledgeable about cats doesn't intend to breed but felt the cat should have one litter before having the op. The kittens were all gorgeous. Two females are reserved and the two males are available (which is what we generally prefer). The two males have different personalities and we thought the less adventurous one might suit us better although they were both excellent kittens and they'll be nicely socialised by the time they can leave at twelve weeks. We decided to not make a decision until we'd had the time to talk it through on the way home.
On the way home we weren't far from the coast and we made little detour to Crackington Haven a pretty little place where we had a cup of coffee and a piece of sticky cake. There was a chilly breeze blowing off the sea but it looked lovely. I may have removed one or two people from the scene. Well, they look so untidy, don't they?
I have a socially distanced musical evening in a sort while. A couple of friends in the garden, first time but I hope we'll do more.
