Day 116

we broke out today and got the train to Windsor. We wore the obligatory face masks and was glad to take them off 20 minutes later as we arrived at Windsor and Eton Riverside station!
we walked slowly up the hill to our favourite coffee shop,Esquires, just opposite the road leading to the castle. They serve a really nice coffee. We chatted to an elderly lady who sat on the next table who goes to Windsor frequently for a coffee. We just missed the horses having what we presumed was their daily exercise through the town. Looked to be the entire Barracks stables.  
Then a slow walk back through the Alma road car park where there is a Covid testing station setup for the Royal Airforce. one of the officers spoke with us and wished us a very nice day. Nice that he had the time to pass the time of day with us
