Looking Down.

As forecast, the weather was much better today if still a little on the breezy side. I wasted no time in getting out for a walk and decided to focus on the grassy verges which meant I didn’t need to take my camera and could rely on my phone camera for flowers and bugs. There were plenty around, and there were even a few Ringlet butterflies. I did take my binoculars, as believe it or not, there is currently a Lammergeier in the area and although it was unlikely to drift as far down the valley as us, I could never have forgiven myself if it had appeared on the horizon.
