Memories

Feeling a bit under the weather today, I didn't want to go out looking for flowers to blip.  Then I saw my address book and thought it might make a good Flower Friday blip.  I've always loved the roses on the cover, and each new letter page has another old-fashioned painting of flowers.

I've had this book for nearly all the years I've lived here, and looking through it today I realized that there are more names crossed off than there are current ones.  All those people I knew who moved away, fell out of touch or died.  Some names I don't recognize.  I would like to know what happened to the ones I liked who aren't in my life now.  Did they accomplish what they wanted?  Did they fulfill their dreams?  Are they happy?  I hope so.
