Marina stroll

Another beautiful but cold morning, 16c is the high temps forecast for the day with a low of 4c, some 'might' say this is warm-ish? but it was a cold Easterly wind blowing.
There were hundreds of white parrots, the noise was deafening, it does look an ideal spot to love in the apartments here at the Marina but truth be told the parrots would drive me nuts! what a racket they make! 
On another note we managed to have a Face Time with Glyns Mum who is still in lockdown at her Nursing Home in the UK, she looked remarkably well and happy to see our faces, the home has invested in numerous iPads so the nursing staff can help the residents with a hook up to their loved ones who live far away, and some close by who still can't visit, there is a plan in the pipeline for families to meet in the garden in the not too distant future.
As some nursing homes have fallen victim to the pandemic Pendean has come out of it with flying colours, Mum is getting her hair done once a week so all is right with her word, fortunately a member of staff was a hairdresser before she became a carer, how lucky is Mum ..
