By the Way

Sometimes mono is good at just recording what is. I honestly think we see this old house much better on a dull day without the distraction of colour ... although this image does feature a slight tint in keeping with the elderly, rustic nature of the subject. It is to be found by the wayside on the Jenolan Caves Road. I reckon this place could easily be 100 years old - probably more.

This is by no means an attempt at mono minimalism. I felt my journal was starting to have a sameness to it. For the next day or so I shall target some local countryside before trying to get arty again.
