Alhambra Garden

Saturday 11th July 2020

We were out early to avoid any crowds and went down to the Alhambra Gardens and Canal Gardens for a walk. It was sad to see the Canal Gardens in particular looking so bare of plants, overgrown with weeds, and the water all stagnant, a consequence of lockdown and probably the gardeners on furlough. We look forward to the gardeners returning but they have quite a task ahead of them! 

Mum had another good walk and she's seen quite a bit of scenery over the last 42hrs. After lunch it will be time to ahead home. It has been a very special time.
