White-legged damselfly

Yesterday I read that the British Dragonfly Society is concerned that the White-legged damselfly may be disappearing from some parts of the UK. It has launched an investigation to collect data on the abundance and distribution of this beautiful damselfly. This morning I set off with the spaniel to see if we could find any at a couple of places I recall seeing them in the past. As you can see we were successful(the image shows the female), although the numbers were quite low, and I've submitted my sightings.
