Sweet dreams

MrRoly installed a reading light for my G&T 3yo at the weekend. So now he reads himself to sleep too. Only he is not really G&T drink or school description but more of a cake baby. But that's a whole other story - imagine my surprise that he was an actual little boy and not just a giant cake...

Anyhow, lots of Brownie stuff today, real planning rather than the G&T drink type. And Brownies itself. With a new parent helper we have recruited! We celebrated Chinese New Year and learnt that apparently the Chinese for happy new year is:

WELL HUNG FAT GUY*

All you folks who are doing this with small children over the next few days are going to love me now!

*of course it isn't really. Really it is "Gong Xi Fa Cai" but that doesn't reduce me to knicker wetting hysterical laughter in quite the same way!
