Off island

A friend and I met up and went for a longer walk this morning. Our route took us over the 4th barrier beach onto South Ronaldsay and out through Grimness to the beach at Limbo where we encountered a group of terns who weren’t too happy at us being near their nesting area.

From there we headed back around the coast to the 4th barrier and home. This pic was taken as we rounded the point and Burray came into view and if you look closely, and know where to look, you can see my house.

Really great to get out a bit further from home.
