The first time I used a face covering in the supermarket I used my hairband as a bandana. It wasnt too bad for a start but by the time i was finished i thought I was away to pass out as I got more and more anxious with it.  However I was very glad that I bought the mask with the clear panel as not only is it better people who rely on lipreading, the way it is shaped I was able to go round another shop with no problems at all. I think it was because I had space round my mouth and nose so was not panicky with it at all which was great.
