Through a lens, brightly
I used a bit of my recent small windfall to buy a 45mm f1.8 lens for the Olympus. It certainly makes the camera less imposing than the massive 14-150mm f4 lens which was my only one up till now. And it's nice to have that wide-open f1.8. Here I am testing it on a regular subject.
I made burnt some apricot jam, snd S cleared up some of the wilderness in the garden (gender roles, anyone?). In the early evening we went down to the cleaned-up garden for a leisurely apero ... it was cool enough by then. The massive growth of the bay tree and oleander has made it much shadier.
