Hitchhiker?

This fellow drifted by my door today looking for fish.  There was nothing unusual about that because there's a lot of daily kayak/canoe traffic on the waterway.  What was unusual is the kingfisher on his hat. (see Extra)  For a fleeting moment he had me believing that a live kingfisher had hitched a ride on his hat.   After a series of pictures showed no movement on the kingfisher's part I gave up that thought.  If I see this fellow again I'm going to thank him for making my day.
