Day 1 of the project to reroof the Hoy bolt hole, Ziberoonie is Site Manager. We took separate ferries to the job. Z took all the plant on the Hoy Head. I'd gone on ahead on the Graemsay and started cutting wood.

Stage 1: catch your scaffolding, remember not to stare directly at it.

The day started well but ended up in bum freezing misery, with north west rain and eight degrees.

At least Mr Glenscotia was on hand later in the evening.

There was no sign of Phyllida.
