First Chalkhill blue of the season

I was very excited to see this male Chalkhill blue today, although I did feel a little ambivalent as it also means the season is rushing on and it will soon be autumn again. To be honest it feels like most of this season has been a total wash out! Hopefully things will be better in 2021.

Grateful today for - meadows of beautiful flowers, and the smell of wild marjoram.
