Caribbean Queen

I usually get across to Iona a few times each year but because of lockdown haven’t been able. With the impending move, I just felt I wanted to visit as if to say farewell as no idea when I will see it again. The weather looked ok for today before it takes a downward turn next week so we went for it.

There were 6 of us on the ferry over and Iona welcomed us with warm sunshine and blue sky. It always amazes me how white the sand is, turquoise and clear the sea. I’ve never been to the Caribbean but imagine it’s something like this only several hundred degrees warmer. It was perfect.
