WHAT?????

This must be a very first world problem but how do I carry on without my Kindle?
The nice man at Amazon said I bought this in 2014 so I have had some use out of it. He also said that it was lost, gone, no more, has passed to the great electronic library in the sky, it is an ex-kindle (not in so many words maybe)
What he did not tell me is that having ordered a replacement, in a pleasing shade of blue, I will have to wait until the very end of the month to receive it, that's about 3 weeks.
Looks like I will be in the loft digging out some pre-electronic literature that relies on paper rather than a screen.
