Not a wedding!

Today should have been Ali and Stuart's wedding however it will not take place till July 2021 due to the current situation. She had a good day though.

We started by going to not do the park run, because that's not taking place either. (see extra) Katy, Ali and I met down at Cramond, they did their full 5k and a couple of extra k too as they got to the end then came back to find me, I did what I planned which was 3.5k. I would have done a bit more but was witness to a nasty accident and stopped to help. A dog was running loose and cut in front of a cyclist who wasn't able to stop in time, hit the dog and did a spectacular fall over the front of his bike. I didn't know what I was going to find as I went over to him. He was in his 50's I would think. Fortunately he seemed unhurt, as was the dog, but was very shaken. It was rather frightening at the time. Several people stopped to help and it was a relief a little later to see him cycle off having taken time to recover. He was very, very lucky. The dog had run straight in front of him and he had no chance of avoiding it.
I can't believe that I went for a run with my daughters!!!

This afternoon we went to Ali and Stuart's, her bride's group were all there except one bridesmaid, as were her flower girls. I don't think her bouquet will be quite as big on the day, but who knows. They had an afternoon of prosecco and fun, a video compilation of wedding greetings from friends and family around the world and then, when every one else went home, a special restaurant at home meal for the two of them.
I think they enjoyed their day and it was nice if a little strange to see so many people, we kept our safe distance though.

Looking forward to next year's real event now.
