Our weekend guest

Sarah's dog Charlie is spending the weekend with us while she and Nick head to someplace pretty in eastern Washington for a weekend getaway.  They will be visiting Cave B Estate Winery and staying either there or nearby.  They needed a getaway.  They had to postpone their wedding that was to be held in May, and now they are looking at postponing it again, from October to perhaps March.  I'm not sure there will be a safe time to do it anytime soon, but hopefully I'm wrong and we'll see them happily married, the way they want it to be.

It's a dismal looking day outside, so I've chosen to stay in, paint some, make banana chocolate chip muffins, and play with Charlie. Hope your day is going well too.
