Mobile home .....

Another day of this and that .
Once I’d been round the cattle, a neighbouring farmer in for a load of rolled barley . Once I’d loaded him up ,hitched up the mower and went to cut the end rig of a grass field before we bring the hill ewes down through it to clip this week.
Littlemiss has a go but decided keeping on a straight line wasn’t as easy as it looked !
After lunch decided to try and get the ATV sprayer to work. Took the electric motor on the pump to bits and managed to give the brushes a clean up. Took a bit of buggering about and an inventive use of 2 cable ties to get the brushes back over the end of the motor shaft, but got it working in the end.
Got Littlemiss to drive the quad while I sprayed all the weeds on the front drive and round the edge of the lawn with glyphosphate with the hand lance. Gardening Farmer Boab style .
Had the job done by 7 pm so took the dogs and Littlemiss on the quad to check a cow that was near calving . She’s not doing anything yet but won’t be far away. No doubt she’ll pick a time when I’m busy somewhere else !
Spotted this snail making its way across the yard tonight- it was obviously on a mission, all be it a slow one !
