Fox Glacier Scenery

You see! I don't always blip macros of bugs. Not that there were too many where we went today anyway.

I find the endemic New Zealand plants quite fascinating, and this grass is a very beautiful example. According to our guide today at the Fox Glacier it is toitoi, and it looked so pretty shining in the sun. The white river looking object is actually the Fox Glacier. I can't think of anywhere else in the world where a glacier is so accessible. And we were so blessed with the weather, clear blue sky, and quite warm.

Internet is really quite limited, and very expensive so not much opportunity to comment. Thanks to everyone who has visited - and I will get back to you - one day!!!
