Woolly Bears

AS I said the other day, these are the caterpillars of a tiger moth.  They can be brown, or ginger, or brindled. The moths themselves are also quite attractive, but one stock standard white and black pattern.

My poor echium is smothered with them, but I don't really like to muck around with nature, so the echium will have to take its chances.
