Costume for three musicians

Lorna designed this costume for the three musicians in WB Yeats.' play of 1907 about the the Irish heroine Deirdre.

Three evening frocks of some sort of dull material - crackle, crepe or anything like that - dyed a deep midnight blue - rather deeper than this - would do admirably. The gaps of pale blue are merely to indicate that the dresses are split up the sides. A towel would do admirably for the headdress, but I think it essential to keep all three as sort of lay figures.
