From Sinkside Hill
Big pan of French lentil soup made, nut and veg roast prepared for tomorrow, and a load of washing done and dried, among other things.
In the evening a walk from Hethpool in the College Valley up to the top of Sinkside Hill. A very steep path up through Forestry Commission planting, but worth it for the views from the top. Overcast at first, but as we ate our sandwiches sitting on remains of the hill fort at the top, it cleared a little and the sun broke through, casting shadows on the hills. The Blip is looking down the valley to the great mass of The Cheviot. In the opposite direction you can just see the sea!
