The mother of all bumble Bees!

I went to pukeiti gardens again today with express interest in getting some photos together for my third submission to shutter stock. I had my Tripod and my macro and I was going to get some crisp clean pictures of flowers! Well I got side tracked and ended up with 300 odd pictures of Bumble Bess, wasps, and butterflies! None of which I think shutter stock will take! It seems like an impossible task! My first submission all ten photos were rejected. My second submission I had 3 photos that were considered good enough but you need 7 out of the 10 to get through the accepting process. The other 7 were said to be " image is not in focus or focus is not located where we feel it works best"
Im undecided as to whether I will submit this image but I think it is awesome! This bumble bee was enormous! He didn't seem to care that I was poking my camera right in his face in fact this isn't the closest one I got! I got one of just his upper body and eye! He raised his leg as if to say "hello, hows it going" LOL!
I had a wonderful time despite not getting what I went for and I also got to see fresh snow on our mountain!! I could hardly believe my eyes! It was rather chilly last night too and we had to get out the winter blankets. Who would have thought it possible to get fresh snow at the beginning of February, the supposed hottest month of the year!
